For the whole of June 2026, the Pediatric Unit went yellow as part of the hospital initiatives to create a wide awareness campaign that focuses on early detection, parent education and the importance of timely intervention.
An eleven man team of doctors, nurses and specialists led by Dr. Daniella Awuku Anim embarked on educational activities, patient engagement and community outreach to ensure that parents are equipped with the knowledge needed to recognize the signs of jaundice and seek care promptly when necessary.
